Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device capable of improving stability of an air floating mechanism and achieving a combination with a base isolation mechanism to vertical vibration.SOLUTION: The base isolation device includes: a base 14 having a first smooth surface 14a; an air floating mechanism 12 configured to oppositely arrange both smooth surfaces of a slider 16 having a second smooth surface 16a, and jet out air between the two smooth surfaces 14a, 16a oppositely arranged, to float the slider 16; and a pneumatic spring 18 having a container 20 composed of an elastic body, and capable of adjusting elastic force at the time when the container 20 is pressed in a vertical direction by air stored in the container 20, the pneumatic spring 18 being arranged vertically in series with the slider 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】空気浮上機構の安定性を向上させ、鉛直方向の振動に対する免震機構との組み合わせを実現可能な免震装置を提供する。【解決手段】第1の平滑面14aを有するベース14と、第2の平滑面16aを有するスライダ16の両平滑面を対向配置させて、対向配置した2つの平滑面14a,16aの間にエアを噴出してスライダ16を浮上させる空気浮上機構12と、弾性体により構成される容器20を有し、容器20内に貯留されたエアにより容器20が鉛直方向に押圧される際の弾性力を調節可能な空気ばね18と、を備え、スライダ16と上下直列に空気ばね18を配置したことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
