Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging battery pack for electro-optical reader, and to provide a method for charging the battery pack, and supplying power to the reader by using a charged battery pack.SOLUTION: A battery pack for electro-optical reader includes a charging battery and a printed circuit board (PCB) both mounted in the battery housing. First and second electric connectors are supported by the same PCB and/or battery housing. The first electric connector is connected with a reader contact in the reader, when the battery pack is mounted in the reader.
