Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge that prevents an influence of contamination of a charging target body, especially a photoreceptor and can stably form a high-quality electrophotographic image, and an image forming apparatus with high durability using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic process cartridge comprising at least an electrophotographic photoreceptor and charging means that charges the electrophotographic photoreceptor, where the charging means is a charging roller that contains a compound represented by the following formula (1), and the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a surface layer having a glass transition point of 85°C or more.
