PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor that is configured so that when relative displacement is mutually generated therein by earthquake and the like, the passenger conveyor is prevented from being damaged, and when the relative displacement is not generated, the conveyor can be made flat without forming level differences between a slide floor plate and a getting on/off floor of the passenger conveyor or between the slide floor plate and a floor of a building.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor 1 comprises: a truss frame 2 to be erected between one floor and the other floor of a building; a truss support angle 3 or a passenger conveyor support part to be fixed to a building support beam 4a; and a slide floor provided slidably between a floor 10 of the building and a getting on/off floor 5 of the passenger conveyor 1. The slide floor comprises a slide floor plate 11, one end of which is fixed to the floor 10 of the building and an upper surface of which is positioned at the height of the floor 10 of the building and the getting on/off floor 5. When the floor 10 of the building and the getting on/off floor 5 are relatively displaced so that a clearance therebetween is reduced, the other end of the slide floor plate 10 runs on an upper surface of the getting on/off floor 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】地震等により相互に相対変位が生じた場合において乗客コンベアの破損を防止しつつ、相対変位が生じない状態では、スライド床プレートと乗客コンベアの乗降床、或は、スライド床プレートと建築物床との間に段差を有さず平坦化可能な乗客コンベアを提供する。【解決手段】乗客コンベア１は、建築物の一方の床と他方の床との間に架設されるトラスフレーム２、建築受梁４ａに固定されるトラス支持アングル３又は乗客コンベア支持部、建築物床１０と乗客コンベア１の乗降床５との間にスライド可能に設けられたスライド床を有する。スライド床は、一端が建築物床１０に固定され、上面が建築物床１０及び乗降床５の高さに位置するスライド床プレート１１を備え、建築物床１０と乗降床５との間隙が縮小するよう相対変位する場合、スライド床プレート１０の他端が乗降床５の上面に乗り上げる。【選択図】 図３
