Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell feed type gas separation membrane module capable of carrying out the efficient gas separation of a hollow fiber membrane.SOLUTION: An objective shell feed type gas separation membrane module 1 comprises: a hollow fiber membrane element 15 in which both ends of a hollow fiber membrane bundle bundling plural hollow fiber membranes are firmly fixed and embedded by first and second tube plates 21, 22, and a core tube 70 is disposed at a nearly middle part; and a container 10 in which the hollow fiber membrane element 15 is stored. The module carries out gas separation by feeding a gas mixture to the outside space of a hollow fiber membrane 14 in the container. The hollow fiber membrane 14 opens at a first tube plate 21, but does not open at a second tube plate 22. The core tube 70 has at least a function as the discharge duct of a non-permeable gas, and at least one discharge duct 85 of the non-permeable gas is installed in a portion other than the core tube among the second tube plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】中空糸膜の効率的なガス分離を行うことができるシェルフィード型のガス分離膜モジュールを提供する。【解決手段】このガス分離膜モジュールは、複数の中空糸膜を集束した中空糸膜束の両端が第1および第2の管板21、22によって固着・包埋され、かつ、略中央部に芯管70が配置された中空糸膜エレメント15と、前記中空糸膜エレメントが収納される容器10と、を備え、混合ガスを容器内の中空糸膜の外側空間へ供給してガス分離を行うシェルフィード型ガス分離膜モジュール1であって、前記中空糸膜14は、前記第1の管板21において開口する一方で第2の管板22においては開口しておらず、前記芯管70は、少なくとも、未透過ガスの排出管路としての機能を有し、前記第2の管板のうち芯管以外の部分には、未透過ガスの排出管路85が少なくとも1つ設置されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
