Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently aggregate a plurality of original images while securing legibility.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: an effective image extracting part 113 which extracts an effective image from an original image; a division determination part 114 which determines whether or not the original image of a processing object is dividable on the basis of a position of an effective image region comprising a plurality of effective pixels included in the original image of the processing object; a division processing part 115 for dividing the original image having been determined to be dividable into a plurality of original images; and a rotation processing part 116 which applies rotation processing to the original image having been determined not to be dividable.
