Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colony count system capable of detecting impaired attention of an operator.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a colony count system 1 comprises: executing a first process of acquiring an image captured by an imaging device 30 for counting the number of colonies of bacteria cultured in a culture medium in a dish and counting the number of colonies contained in the image based on the image; and executing a second process of calculating a deviation of the position of the dish from a predetermined reference position in the image and determining the timing of outputting an alarm based on the amount of the deviation.
