Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since it is difficult to detect motor coil short circuit between respective systems of an electric power steering device (EPS) having a double (multiplex) inverter & motor, abnormality is not detected and since an abnormality, e.g., steering oscillation, occurs by starting assist, load on a driver increases.SOLUTION: When a motor drive circuit of one system is activated, the other is in not-activated state, and by monitoring the state of this not-activated system, inter-system short circuit of a motor coil is detected. Consequently, a motor actuator capable of detecting an abnormality quickly upon occurrence short circuit failure between redundancy system motors, issuing a warning is appropriately to a driver, and transiting to an optimum system state can be provided. A power steering device using the same can also be provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】2重(多重)インバータ&モータを持つ電動パワーステアリング装置(EPS)の各系間のモータコイルショートの検出は各系個別の診断では検出困難なため、異常が検出されず、アシストを開始して、操舵振動等の異常が発生しドライバーに負担が増加する。【解決手段】一方の系のモータ駆動回路を起動させた時、他方は未起動状態とし、この未起動の系の状態を監視する事で、モータコイルの系間ショートを検出する。これにより、冗長系モータ間でショート故障が発生した場合に速やかにその異常が検出出来ると共に、ドライバーへ適切に警告を出すと共に、最適なシステム状態に遷移が可能なモータアクチュエータ、及びそれを用いたパワーステアリング装置を提供することができる。【選択図】図2 |
