Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform at high speed, authenticity determination processing which is performed based on an image of an authenticity determination object.SOLUTION: An authenticity determination method is configured to: acquire images of an authenticity determination object in which there is a pattern whose outside is a prescribed color circle (step S101); detect a reference image position where the prescribed color circle is detected first, by scanning acquired images in a prescribed order (step S102); determine a circle center position of the circle on the basis of the detected reference image position and a radius of the circle (step S103); determine average density for plural doughnut-state data surrounded by concentric circles having a different radius respectively and having the circle center position as a circle center, and calculate density distribution in which the average densities are arranged in the radius direction (step S104); and compare reference density distribution for determination which has been determined in advance, with the density distribution, for performing authenticity determination of the authenticity determination object (steps S105-S108).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】真贋判定対象物の画像をもとに行う真贋判定処理を高速に行うこと。【解決手段】外側が所定色の円となる図形が存在する真贋判定対象物の画像を取得し(ステップS101)、取得された画像を所定順序でスキャンして前記所定色の円を最初に検出した基準画像位置を検出し(ステップS102)、検出した基準画像位置及び前記円の半径をもとに前記円の円中心位置を決定し(ステップS103)、前記円中心位置を円中心とした半径の異なる同心円で囲まれる複数のドーナツ状データ毎に平均濃度を求め、該平均濃度を半径方向に並べた濃度分布を算出し(ステップS104)、予め求められた真判定の基準濃度分布と前記濃度分布とを比較して前記真贋判定対象物の真贋判定を行う(ステップS105〜S108)。【選択図】図9
