Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an automatic transmission which detects proper timing at a start of torque restoration, suppresses the generation of a judder at a gear change, and can prevent that the shortage of a drive force is unnecessarily continued.SOLUTION: A control device of an automatic transmission comprises a sub-transmission 30 which is arranged between an engine 1 and drive wheels 7, releases a high clutch 33 in a fastened state, and performs a gear change by fastening a low brake 32 in a released state. At the gear change of the sub-transmission 30, the control device performs torque-down for lowering engine torque Te more than load torque which is applied to the engine 1, and when performing torque restoration for increasing the engine torque Te accompanied by the progress of the gear change, the control device sets the start timing of the torque restoration on the basis of a rotation speed difference of the high clutch 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】トルク復帰の開始に適切なタイミングを検知し、変速時のジャダーの発生を抑制すると共に、駆動力不足が不要に長引くことを防止できる自動変速機の制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】エンジン1と駆動輪7との間に配され、締結状態のハイクラッチ33を解放すると共に解放状態のローブレーキ32を締結することで変速を行う副変速機30を備え、副変速機30の変速に際して、エンジントルクTeをエンジン1に加わる負荷トルクよりも低下させるトルクダウンを行うと共に、前記変速の進行に伴ってエンジントルクTeを増大させるトルク復帰を行う際、このトルク復帰の開始タイミングを、ハイクラッチ33の回転速度差に基づいて設定する構成とした。【選択図】図4
