PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method by an inkjet method capable of coating with a uniform film thickness even in the case of a coating pattern having bending.SOLUTION: In a coating method for forming a coating pattern 51 having a shape formed by connecting a plurality of line segments having each different direction, by discharging coating liquid onto a substrate by an inkjet method, coating is performed so that a width of the coating pattern 51 at a connection part 53 which is a part where line segments having each different direction are connected becomes smaller than a width of the coating pattern 51 of a part coated in a line segment shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】折れ曲がりを有するような塗布パターンであっても均一な膜厚で塗布することが可能なインクジェット法による塗布方法を提供する。【解決手段】方向の異なる複数の線分が連結された形状の塗布パターン５１を基材上にインクジェット法により塗布液を吐出して形成する塗布方法であり、方向の異なる線分同士が連結される部分である連結部５３における塗布パターンの幅が５１線分状に塗布される部分の塗布パターン５１の幅よりも小さくなるように塗布する。【選択図】図３
