Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make dischargeable power of a secondary battery sufficiently usable and to suppress deterioration of the secondary battery caused by overdischarge in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a power supply system 100 comprising: a battery module 10 in which battery cells 11 are connected in series; a voltage sensor 17; a current sensor 18; a temperature sensor 19; and a control section 20. Based on a present voltage value Vb0, a present current value Ib0 and a present temperature Tb0 of the battery module 10, the control section 20 estimates a present positive electrode potential Vand a present negative electrode potential Vof the battery cell 11 and sets smaller power between first maximum dischargeable power of the battery module 10 calculated from the estimated current positive electrode potential Vand a discharge lower limit potential Vof a positive electrode and second maximum dischargeable power of the battery module 10 calculated from the estimated present negative electrode potential Vand a discharge upper limit potential Vof a negative electrode as maximum dischargeable power of the battery module 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
