Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium for an air filter, which exhibits high collection efficiency and low pressure loss, and also exhibits high dust collection volume, and provide a filter pack, an air filter unit, and a manufacturing method of the filter medium for the air filter.SOLUTION: A filter medium 1 for an air filter includes a pre-collecting material 10, a first porous membrane 31, and a second porous membrane 32 arranged in this order from an upstream side. A pressure loss of the first porous membrane 31 and second porous membrane 32 is 30-90 Pa when air is passed through at a flow rate of 5.3 cm/s, and collection efficiency of NaCl with a particle size 0.3 μm is 95-99.9%. A pressure loss of the pre-collecting material 10 is 5 Pa or higher and less than 55 Pa when the air is passed through at the flow rate of 5.3 cm/s, collection efficiency of NaCl with a particle size 0.3 μm is 15% or higher and less than 85%, and a thickness is larger than 0.4 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】捕集効率が高く圧力損失が低いだけでなく、保塵量も高いエアフィルタ用濾材、フィルタパック、エアフィルタユニット、および、そのようなエアフィルタ用濾材の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】上流側から順にプレ捕集材10、第1の多孔膜31、第2の多孔膜32が並んで配置されたエアフィルタ用濾材1において、第1の多孔膜31と第2の多孔膜32は、それぞれ、空気を流速5.3cm/秒で通過させたときの圧力損失が30Pa以上90Pa以下であり、粒子径0.3μmのNaClの捕集効率が95%以上99.9%以下であり、プレ捕集材10は、空気を流速5.3cm/秒で通過させたときの圧力損失が5Pa以上55Pa未満であり、粒子径0.3μmのNaClの捕集効率が15%以上85%未満であり、厚みが0.4mmより大きい。【選択図】図1
