Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology, in a configuration in which radio communication between an image processing apparatus and an information terminal is performed via a repeating device, which enables a user to easily recognize a communication situation between respective devices.SOLUTION: An MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) 100 determines a time period from transmission of a ping signal to an access point 50 until reception of a response signal and a time period from transmission of a ping signal to an information terminal 51 via the access point 50 until reception of a response signal, respectively. The MFP 100, then, stores large difference information when a difference between both time periods is equal to or larger than a threshold T and small difference information when the difference is smaller than the threshold T, in a RAM 33 or the like. Further, in the case of receiving an image processing instruction, the MFP 100 outputs a signal for notifying that a communication situation between the information terminal 51 and the access point 50 is bad when the large difference information is stored, and outputs a signal for notifying that a communication situation between the access point 50 and a communication IF 37 is bad when the small difference information is stored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】画像処理装置と情報端末とを中継装置を介して無線通信する構成において,各装置間の通信状況をユーザが把握し易い技術を提供すること。【解決手段】MFP100は,アクセスポイント50にping信号を送信して応答信号を受信するまでの時間と,アクセスポイント50を介して情報端末51にping信号を送信して応答信号を受信するまでの時間と,をそれぞれ決定する。そして,MFP100は,両者の時間の差が,閾値T以上であれば大差情報を,閾値T未満であれば小差情報を,RAM33等に記憶させる。更に,MFP100は,画像処理命令を受信した場合に,大差情報が記憶されていれば情報端末51とアクセスポイント50との通信状況が悪いことを報知させる信号を出力し,小差情報が記憶されていればアクセスポイント50と通信IF37との通信状況が悪いことを報知させる信号を出力する。【選択図】図5
