Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more safely recover an inspection brick in inspecting penetrance of a radioactive substance to the lined brick, in a rotary kiln for heating waste including the radioactive substance to remove radioactive cesium and the like from the waste.SOLUTION: A rotary kiln is provided with a brick inspection structure 5 including a metallic plate 5a having a curved face of curvature same as that of an inner face of a metallic shell 2 of the rotary kiln 1, an inspection brick 5b stuck to the curved face of the metallic plate, and mounting portions 5c, 5e for mounting the metallic plate to an opening formed on the metallic shell of the rotary kiln removably from the outside of the metallic shell. In the rotary kiln, a raw material including the radioactive substance is heated, and then the inspection brick is recovered by removing the brick inspection structure. Preferably, three or more inspection bricks are continuously stuck to the metallic plate while kept into contact with each other in a circumferential direction of the metallic shell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】放射性物質を含有する廃棄物を加熱し、廃棄物から放射性セシウム等を除去するロータリーキルンにおいて、内張煉瓦への放射性物質の浸透度に関する検査を行うにあたり、検査用煉瓦をより安全に回収する。【解決手段】ロータリキルン1の金属シェル2の内面と同一曲率の曲面を有する金属板5aと、この金属板の曲面に貼り付けられる検査用煉瓦5bと、金属板を、ロータリキルンの金属シェルに設けられた開口に、金属シェルの外側から取り外し可能に取り付ける取付部5c、5eとを備える煉瓦検査用構造体5をロータリキルンに取り付け、ロータリーキルンにおいて、放射性物質を含む原料を加熱した後に煉瓦検査用構造体を取り外して検査用煉瓦を回収する。金属板には、金属シェルの円周方向に3つ以上の検査用煉瓦を互いに当接するように連続して貼り付けることが好ましい。【選択図】図1 |
