Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal toilet which suppresses the malodor produced by urine adhering to and persisting on a granular material.SOLUTION: The bottom face (SUF) of a support base (3), at which an animal urinates, is formed with a mesh (33) which allows the urine of said animal to pass, and a groove (31) extending toward the mesh (33). The bottom face (SUF) of the support base (3) has an inclined structure, in which the side of the mesh (33) is lowered, and the groove width (w) of the groove (31) is smaller than the grain diameter (d) of cat sand (8) to be scattered on the bottom face (SUF).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】尿が粒状物に付着して残留することで悪臭が発生してしまうことを抑制する。【解決手段】動物が排尿する支持台（３）の底面（ＳＵＦ）には、上記動物の尿を通過させるメッシュ（３３）が形成されているとともに、メッシュ（３３）に向って延在する溝（３１）が形成されており、支持台（３）の底面（ＳＵＦ）は、メッシュ（３３）の側が低くなる傾斜構造を有しており、溝（３１）の溝幅（ｗ）は、底面（ＳＵＦ）に散布される猫砂（８）の粒径（ｄ）よりも小さい。【選択図】図２
