Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip resistor capable of highly accurately adjusting an ohmic value of a resistor while improving surge characteristics.SOLUTION: A meander shaped resistor 3 connected to a pair of front electrodes 2 includes a rectangular bridge part 3a extending along the longitudinal direction of an insulation substrate 1, and an adjustment part 3b protruding upward along the short direction of the insulation substrate 1 from the upper side central part of the bridge part 3a. and is formed in a reverse trapezoidal shape in which width dimension on a root side of the adjustment part 3b is narrower than that on the tip side. A trimming groove 4 is formed reaching the adjustment part 3b from the lower side of the bridge part 3a to adjust the ohmic value of the resistor 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】サージ特性を向上させつつ、抵抗体の抵抗値を高精度に調整することができるチップ抵抗器を提供する。【解決手段】一対の表電極2に接続する蛇行形状の抵抗体3が、絶縁基板1の長手方向に沿って延びる長方形状の橋絡部3aと、橋絡部3aの上辺中央部から絶縁基板1の短手方向に沿って上方へ突出する調整部3bとを有すると共に、この調整部3bの根元側の幅寸法が先端側の幅寸法よりも狭い逆台形状となっており、橋絡部3aの下辺から調整部3bに達するトリミング溝4を形成することにより、抵抗体3の抵抗値が調整されるようになっている。【選択図】図1
