Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of producing vascular endothelial growth factor production promoting agents and hair growth agents which can improve or prevent disorders generated in blood vessels without few risks of side effects by promoting the production of a vascular endothelial growth factor, as well as to provide vascular endothelial growth factor production promoting agents and hair-growth agents.SOLUTION: A production method comprises: recovering the placenta from a birthing mammal (step S1); transferring it in a cool-resistant container and sealing the container and subsequently freezing (steps S2 and S3); then sufficiently melting the frozen placenta (step S4); subsequently obtaining a molten liquid by solid-liquid separation (step S5); increasing the temperature of the molten liquid to an appropriate temperature of 50°C or more to 80°C or less to perform heat treatment (Step S6); then cooling the molten liquid to a temperature of 10°C or less (step S7); subsequently adding 99.9 volume% of ethanol to the molten liquid so as to be 10 mass% or more to 50 mass% or less (step S8); and subsequently standing for a sufficient time to recover the supernatant (step S9).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】血管内皮増殖因子の産生を促進することによって、副作用の虞がほとんど無く、血管に生じた障害を改善し又は防止することができる血管内皮増殖因子産生促進剤を製造する方法及び発毛剤を製造する方法、並びに血管内皮増殖因子産生促進剤及び発毛剤の提供。【解決手段】出産した哺乳動物から胎盤を回収し(ステップS1)、耐冷容器内に移して封止した後、それらを凍結させ(ステップS2,S3)、凍結した胎盤を十分に融解させた(ステップS4)後、固液分離して融解液を得(ステップS5)、この融解液を50℃以上80℃以下の適宜温度に昇温して熱処理を実施し(ステップS6)、次いで、融解液を10℃以下の温度に冷却させた(ステップS7)後、99.9容量%のエタノールを融解液に対して10質量%以上50質量%以下となるように添加後(ステップS8)、十分な時間、静置した後、上清を採取する(ステップS9)、製造方法。【選択図】図1
