Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle capable of enhancing an early stage activation of a catalysis as well as suppressing a heat hazard of the catalysis with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A saddle-riding type vehicle comprises: a vehicle body cover which covers at least a part of an upper surface of a single cylinder 4-stroke engine, and which is formed to have at least a part of a middle part in a longitudinal cross section viewed from the front, higher than a left end and a right end, and which has an open part open to the front; a suction air passage which is disposed with at least a part thereof in between the single cylinder 4-stroke engine and the vehicle body cover, and behind the open part, and which is connected with the single cylinder 4-stroke engine; a main catalysis which has at least a part disposed below the single cylinder 4-stroke engine, and which has an exhaust gas purification capability highest in an exhaust passage of a single cylinder 4-stroke engine unit; and an injector which has at least a part disposed above the single cylinder 4-stroke engine, in the front of the main catalysis, and behind the open part, and which injects a fuel to the suction passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】触媒の早期活性を高めることができ、且つ、シンプルな構成で触媒の熱害対策を行える鞍乗型車両を提供する。【解決手段】この鞍乗型車両は、単気筒4ストロークエンジンの上面の少なくとも一部を覆い、且つ、前方から見た縦断面の中間部の少なくとも一部が左端および右端より高く形成され、前方に向かって開口する開口部を備えた車体カバーと、 少なくとも一部が単気筒4ストロークエンジンと車体カバーの間、且つ、開口部より後方に設けられ、単気筒4ストロークエンジンに接続される吸気通路と、少なくとも一部が単気筒4ストロークエンジンの下方に設けられ、排ガスを浄化する能力が単気筒4ストロークエンジンユニットの排気通路内で最も高いメイン触媒と、少なくとも一部が、単気筒4ストロークエンジンの上方、且つ、メイン触媒より前方、且つ、開口部より後方に配置され、吸気通路に燃料を噴射するインジェクタと、を備える構成を採る。【選択図】図2
