Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact tip for multi-electrode submerged arc welding which can be manufactured without occurrence of a secondary work with a large economical load, and in which an inner peripheral surface of a weld wire insertion hole, which is brought into slide contact with an outer peripheral surface of a weld wire, has an enhanced wear resistance.SOLUTION: A contact tip used for a weld torch in multi-electrode submerged arc welding has a composite construction comprising a matrix 2 made of a Cu-Be alloy, and a tip chip 3 made of W having a purity of 75% or more which is mounted to an arc generation side tip of the matrix.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】経済的負担が大きい二次的な作業を発生させることなく作製でき、溶接ワイヤの外周面と摺接する溶接ワイヤ挿通孔の内周面の耐摩耗性を向上した多電極サブマージアーク溶接用のコンタクトチップを提供する。【解決手段】多電極サブマージアーク溶接の溶接トーチに用いられるコンタクトチップであって、Cu−Be合金製の母体2と、該母体のアーク発生側先端部に装着した純度75%以上のW製の先端チップ3と、からなる複合構造のコンタクトチップ。【選択図】図1
