Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for reducing a volume of a synthetic resin bottle in which, even if the synthetic resin bottle has high restoring force, it can reliably be crushed and reduced in volume by the small force using rotary movement without breaking a neck part, and a container other than the synthetic resin bottle can be sorted even if being mixed.SOLUTION: An apparatus for reducing a volume of a synthetic resin bottle is provided for crushing the synthetic resin bottle being a workpiece having a body part for retaining contents and a neck part connected to the body part, and thereby the volume is reduced. The apparatus for reducing the volume of the synthetic resin bottle has a crushing mechanism where a pair of body opening crushing rollers having one or more protrusions on the peripheral surface and for opening and crushing the body part without crushing the neck part is oppositely provided to each other, and a charging guide mechanism for charging and guiding the workpiece to the crushing mechanism so that the peripheral surface of the body opening crushing roller and the peripheral surface of the body part may become parallel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 首部を破壊することなく、回転運動による小さな力で、復元力の高い合成樹脂製ボトルであっても確実に押し潰して減容することが可能であり、合成樹脂製ボトル以外の容器が混入しても選別可能な、合成樹脂製ボトルの減容装置及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】 内容物を貯留するための胴部と前記胴部に接続された首部とを有する被減容対象物である合成樹脂製ボトルを圧潰せしめて減容する減容装置であって、周面に1以上の突起を有し前記首部を圧潰することなく前記胴部を開孔圧潰せしめるための一対の胴部開孔圧潰ローラが相対向して設けられてなる圧潰機構と、前記胴部開孔圧潰ローラの周面と前記胴部の周面とが平行となるように前記圧潰機構へと前記被減容対象物を投入ガイドする投入ガイド機構と、を有する、合成樹脂製ボトルの減容装置とした。【選択図】図1 |
