PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storage device capable of always achieving high conversion efficiency in the entire electricity storage device even when a plurality of battery modules are used, and a micro battery.SOLUTION: An electricity storage device 1X includes a charge/discharge instruction unit 20 instructing charge and discharge to each of micro batteries 10X. Each of the micro batteries 10X includes: a battery module 11; an individual power conversion unit 12 converting DC power charged and discharged by the battery module 11; and an individual charge/discharge control unit 13 controlling charge and discharge of the battery modules 11 according to the instruction of the charge/discharge instruction unit 20. The charge/discharge instruction unit 20 instructs the individual charge/discharge control unit 13 such that the number of the battery modules 11 that simultaneously perform charge or discharge is small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 複数のバッテリモジュールを用いる場合であっても、蓄電装置全体における変換効率を常に高くすることが可能な蓄電装置及びマイクロバッテリを提供する。【解決手段】 蓄電装置１Ｘは、マイクロバッテリ１０Ｘのそれぞれに対して充電及び放電を指示する充放電指示部２０を備える。マイクロバッテリ１０Ｘのそれぞれは、バッテリモジュール１１と、バッテリモジュール１１が充電及び放電する直流電力を変換する個別電力変換部１２と、充放電指示部２０の指示に従いバッテリモジュール１１の充電及び放電を制御する個別充放電制御部１３とを備えている。充放電指示部２０は、同時に充電または放電を行うバッテリモジュール１１の数が少なくなるように、個別充放電制御部１２に指示する。【選択図】 図１
