Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storage device capable of always achieving high conversion efficiency in the entire electricity storage device even when a plurality of battery modules are used, and a micro battery.SOLUTION: An electricity storage device 1X includes a charge/discharge instruction unit 20 instructing charge and discharge to each of micro batteries 10X. Each of the micro batteries 10X includes: a battery module 11; an individual power conversion unit 12 converting DC power charged and discharged by the battery module 11; and an individual charge/discharge control unit 13 controlling charge and discharge of the battery modules 11 according to the instruction of the charge/discharge instruction unit 20.
