Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of a glossiness imparting device.SOLUTION: A glossiness imparting device 300 includes: a glossiness imparting heating roller 21; an endless belt 24 which is stretched over a plurality of members including the glossiness imparting heating roller 21 and rotates; a glossiness imparting pressure roller 22 which is brought into pressure-contact with the glossiness imparting heating roller 21 via the endless belt 24 and forms a nip part; and cooling means 40 which cools the endless belt 24. The glossiness imparting device makes a recording material P formed with a toner image T enter the nip part and conveys the recording material in the state of contacting the endless belt 24 from the nip part. The cooling means 40 includes a cooling belt 41 which is provided on the inner peripheral side of the endless belt 24 and rotates in the state where a portion thereof is brought into contact with the endless belt 24. The cooling belt 41 is stretched over at least a drive roller 43 applied with the driving force and a cooling roller 42 cooling the cooling belt 41.
