Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control the steering and vehicle speed of a driver's own vehicle when a relative positional relationship between a drawing pattern and another vehicle becomes a particular relationship in the case where the drawing pattern is displayed on a road surface and where another vehicle is recognized.SOLUTION: A predetermined drawing pattern TM2 is projected and drawn at a location on a road surface having a required relationship with a driver's own vehicle CAR1, and an object CAR2 on the road surface is recognized. In establishment of such a relative relationship that the drawing pattern TM2 gets close to or overlaps another vehicle CAR2, the steering and vehicle speed of the driver's own vehicle are automatically controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】路面に描画パターンを表示し、他車両を認識し、描画パターンと他車両との相対位置関係が特定の関係になったときに自車両の操舵と車速を自動制御する。【解決手段】自車両CAR1に対して所要の関係を持つ路面上の地点に所定の描画パターンTM2を投影描画するとともに、路面上の対象物CAR2を認識する。描画パターンTM2が他車両CAR2に接近または重なるような相対位置関係になったときに自車両の操舵と車速を自動制御する。【選択図】 図6
