Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device which can perform efficient retransmission control to enable smooth communication.SOLUTION: A radio communication device 10 includes: a NW communication failure determination unit 11 which determines a data communication failure in a network layer; a hop number count unit which counts a hop number, which is the number of the relay nodes to a target node, that is, a final arrival destination of transmission data; a MAC unit 14 which, according to the hop number counted using the hop number count unit, changes a communication method in the MAC layer; and a communication failure determination unit 13 which determines a data communication failure in the MAC layer. Based on the communication failure information from the communication failure determination unit 13, the NW communication failure determination unit 11 determines that communication in the network layer also fails, to urge retransmission control in the network layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】効率的に再送を制御し、円滑に通信を行うことができる無線通信装置を提供する。【解決手段】無線通信装置10は、ネットワーク層におけるデータ通信の失敗を判定するNW通信失敗判定部11と、送信データの最終到達先である目的ノードに至るまでの中継ノードの数であるホップ数をカウントするホップ数カウント部と、ホップ数カウント部を用いてカウントしたホップ数に応じて、MAC層の通信方式を変更するMAC部14と、MAC層のデータ通信の失敗を判定する通信失敗判定部13とを有する。NW通信失敗判定部11は、通信失敗判定部13の通信失敗情報に基づき、ネットワーク層の通信も失敗したと判定し、ネットワーク層の再送制御を促すことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
