Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: while a certain user displays a job in preview, if another user deletes the job, the user displaying the job in preview cannot print the job even if the user tries to print the job.SOLUTION: There are provided a communication device and a method for controlling the same. The communication device stores received image data as a received job, transmits a preview of the stored received job to an external device to display the preview on the external device, and when instructed to delete the stored received job and determining that the received job is not referred to by remote user interface means, deletes the instructed received job.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】あるユーザがジョブのプレビュー表示中に、他のユーザがそのジョブを削除すると、そのジョブをプレビュー表示しているユーザが、そのジョブを印刷しようとしても印刷できなくなる。【解決手段】通信装置とその制御方法であって、受信した画像データを受信ジョブとして記憶し、その記憶された受信ジョブのプレビューを外部装置に送信して表示させるとともに、記憶されている受信ジョブの削除が指示され、その受信ジョブがリモートユーザインターフェース手段で参照されていないと判定すると、その指示された受信ジョブを削除する。【選択図】 図６
