Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate detection and measurement of insulation resistance of a load or device to ground or a chassis using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An insulation detector is connected between either a positive bus line or negative bus line of an electric device and an output line, where the electric device includes a rectifier circuit located between an AC power supply and a load and configured to convert AC voltage from the AC power supply to DC voltage and an inverter connected on a stage following the rectifier circuit and configured to drive the load, and where the output line connects the inverter to the load. The insulation detector comprises a resistor unit consisting of a serially connected sensing resistor and voltage dividing resistor, a capacitor that is connected in parallel with the resistor unit and has impedance lower than that of the sensing resistor, and a voltage detector configured to measure a voltage level across two terminals of the insulation detector by detecting voltage across the sensing resistor, the voltage being divided by the voltage dividing resistor. Insulation resistance between the load and ground, or a chassis, is detected from the level of voltage across the two terminals of the insulation detector measured by the voltage detector without having to disconnect the AC power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 34 【課題】負荷又は機器の対地又は筐体への絶縁抵抗を高精度に簡易な構成で検出又は測定することを目的とする。【解決手段】交流電源と負荷との間に配され、交流電源からの交流電圧を直流電圧に変換する整流回路と、整流回路の後段に接続されて負荷を駆動するインバータと、を含む電気機器のP母線及びN母線のいずれか一方と、インバータと負荷とを接続する出力線との間に接続される絶縁検出器であって、検出抵抗と分圧抵抗とが直列に接続されて構成される抵抗器と、該抵抗器に並列接続された、検出抵抗よりもインピーダンスが低いコンデンサと、分圧抵抗で分圧された検出抵抗の電圧を検出することで絶縁検出器の両端の電圧値を測定する電圧検出器とを備え、電圧検出器で測定された絶縁検出器の両端の電圧値から、負荷と対地又は筐体との間の絶縁抵抗を交流電源から分断されることなく検出する。【選択図】図34
