Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial fuel staging (AFS) system that can improve the overall operating efficiency of a combustor of a gas turbine.SOLUTION: A fuel injector 204 includes a manifold 220 and a housing 212 coupled to the manifold. The housing defines an interior chamber 254 therein. The fuel injector also includes a nozzle 210 positioned within the interior chamber. The nozzle includes an array 230 of mixing tubes 232 that each have a proximal end 234, a distal end 236, and a perforated body 238 extending therebetween.
