PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool seal member which maintains excellent sealing performance for a long period of time while reducing sliding resistance with a mating member.SOLUTION: A machine tool seal member is provided with a support member, and a plate-like elastic member integrated with the support member. The plate-like elastic member has at least one surface of two surfaces facing each other in a thickness direction as an abutting surface the edge part of which abuts on the mating member. The elastic member comprises a composition containing thermosetting polyurethane and inorganic particles.
