Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved device for performing mechanical heat generation.SOLUTION: There are provided a system and a method for a catheter tip end part which is heated by a mechanical method. The system comprises for example: a catheter body (110) provided in an axial direction lumen (121); a catheter tip end part (170) including a tip end part which is at least partially formed of a high friction thermal conductive material; a friction generation plug (130) provided in the axial direction lumen of the catheter tip end part, and at least partially formed of a high friction material; and a driving wire (140) coupled to a power source (180) at a proximal end, coupled to the friction generation plug at a distal end, and extending and passing through the axial direction lumen of the catheter body. The method includes making the friction generation plug perform rotation motion in the catheter tip end part, or using the driving wire for linear motion of the driving wire in the axial direction.
