PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan and a fan set which can be sent inexpensively as a standard size mail.SOLUTION: A fan 2 is formed into a size in which, in a state of folding and closing a fan surface 24, a length of a longitudinal direction of ribs 21, a maximum width of the folded fan surface 24 and a maximum length between the pair of ribs 21 are in a regulation size of a vertical direction, a lateral direction and a thickness of a standard size mail of an envelope, a weight of the fan 2 is equal to or less than a weight which can be sent by a cheapest postal charge of the standard size mail of the envelope, the fan 2 can be sent as the standard size mail. A fan set 1 comprises the fan 2 capable of being sent as the standard size mail, and a mount 3 whose size is one size smaller than an inner diameter of the envelope of the standard size mail, whose shape is a similar shape to the envelope, and comprises notches 33a, 33b for fixing the fan 2 in a state of folding and closing the fan surface 24 in which the fan is inserted into the notches.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】定形郵便物として安価に送ることができる扇子及び扇子セットを提供する。【解決手段】当該扇子２のサイズは、扇面２４を折り畳んで閉じた状態にて、親骨２１の長さ方向の長さ、折り畳まれた扇面２４の最大幅、及び一対の親骨２１間の最大長さが、封筒の定形郵便物の縦、横、及び厚さの規定サイズ以内に収まる大きさに構成され、当該扇子２の重さは、封筒の定形郵便物の最安郵便料金となる重さ以下である、定形郵便で送れる扇子２を構成している。扇子セット１は、この定形郵便で送れる扇子２と、定形郵便物の封筒の内径より一回り小さいサイズであって当該封筒と相似形状を有し、扇面２４を折り畳んで閉じた状態の前記扇子２を差し込んだ状態で固定させる切込み３３ａ，３３ｂが設けられている台紙３と、を備える。【選択図】図１
