PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller excellent in usability, designability and compactness.SOLUTION: A remote controller 30 of an air conditioner 100 includes a liquid crystal display 60, multiple physical keys 50, and a remote control section 70 for controlling the operation of the liquid crystal display 60 and performing processing in response to input of the physical key 50. The liquid crystal display 60 includes a third display region 63 displaying setting item tabs ta (setting item information) related to setting items which can be set, and a fourth display region 64 displaying information related to the setting state of the setting items. The physical key 50 includes a function key 52 switching the function according to the situation. The remote control section 70 selects setting items to be set sequentially, in response to input of the function key 52, and controls a liquid crystal display 60 to display the information related to the setting items thus selected.
