PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that automatically supplies optimum amounts, according to an amount of laundry, of a detergent and a softener supplied to respective tanks.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises a housing, a water tub provided inside the housing, and washing treatment liquid supply means for supplying a washing treatment liquid into the water tub. The washing treatment liquid supply means comprises a tank for holding the washing treatment liquid inside, and a conveyance pump for conveying the washing treatment liquid from the inside of the tank to an outside of the tank, and further comprises remaining amount detecting means of the washing treatment liquid for detecting a remaining amount of the washing treatment liquid inside the tank, and detecting means for detecting the presence or absence of the washing treatment liquid in the water tub.
