PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for starting an electronic control device capable of shortening the total starting time lasting from when a first device transmits a start request to a second device to when starting of both the second device and a third device which is a data transmission destination is completed.SOLUTION: A communication system includes a first device, a second device connected to the first device so as to enable data communication therebetween via a first communication bus, and a third device connected to the second device so as to enable data communication therebetween via a second communication bus.
