Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow continuous gradation expression and given gradation setting of an electrochromic element.SOLUTION: A first switch part SW1 and a fourth switch part SW4 are turned on in colouring operation and turned off in decolouring operation. A second switch part SW2 and a third switch part SW3 are turned off in the colouring operation and turned on in the decolouring operation. In the colouring operation, a current passage is formed from a colouring power supply part 2 across the first switch part SW1, a variable resistance part 4, an electrochromic element 1, the fourth switch part SW4 and to the ground. In the decolouring operation, a current passage is formed from a decolouring power supply part 3 across the third switch part SW3, the electrochromic element 1, the second switch part SW2 and to the ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】エレクトロクロミック素子の連続的な階調表現と任意の階調設定を可能とする。【解決手段】第1のスイッチ部SW1および第4のスイッチ部SW4は、発色動作時にONとなり、消色動作時にOFFとなる。第2のスイッチ部SW2および第3のスイッチ部SW3は、発色動作時にOFFとなり、消色動作時にONとなる。発色動作時には、発色電源部2から、第1のスイッチ部SW1、可変抵抗部4、エレクトロクロミック素子1、第4のスイッチ部SW4を通り、グランドに至る電流の通路が形成される。消色動作時には、消色電源部3から、第3のスイッチ部SW3、エレクトロクロミック素子1、第2のスイッチ部SW2を通り、グランドに至る電流の通路が形成される。【選択図】図1
