Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens that is compact and light weight, and has sufficiently reduced various aberrations while having a large variable power ratio and a sufficiently wide angle of view, and an imaging device including the same.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises a front group having a negative refractive power and a rear group having a positive refractive power; the front group includes a first lens having a negative refractive power, and the first lens is a meniscus lens that is arranged closest to an object side and has a convex surface directed to the object side; the rear group includes two lens units; the interval between the front group and rear group is reduced and the interval between the two lens units is changed in changing magnification; the first lens unit includes two sub lens units and an aperture stop; the first lens unit includes a first focus lens group and a second focus lens group closer to an image side than the first focus lens group; the interval between the first sub lens unit and second sub lens unit is changed or remains constant in changing magnification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
