Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of covering a hip properly along roundness of the hip of a wearer.SOLUTION: A hip flap 4 of an absorbent article has an absorber layer 32 having an absorbent material, a side sheet 12 arranged on the skin facing surface side of the absorber layer, a non-skin surface sheet 20 arranged on the non-skin facing surface side of the absorber layer, and a plurality of hip flap compression parts 83 provided only on the absorber layer between the absorber layer and a skin surface sheet.
