Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure due to electromigration.SOLUTION: A surface-emitting laser array device includes: a light-emitting region 103 in which a plurality of surface-emitting laser elements 115 are formed; an upper electrode 111 for supplying a current from the outer periphery of the light-emitting region 103 to the surface-emitting laser elements 115; and bonding wires 251 connected to the upper electrode 111 in a region outside the light-emitting region 103. The total cross-sectional area of the bonding wires 251 is larger than the cross-sectional area of the upper electrode 111.
