Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starting system capable of reducing a difference in tensile force between an upstream side and a downstream side of a crank pulley at the time of starting an engine through a simple control and dampening a belt slip at the crank pulley.SOLUTION: An engine starting system comprises: an engine having a crank pulley arranged at a crank shaft; a starting device acting as a force source around which a belt is wound in respect to the crank pulley so as to supply force power to the engine when the engine is started; an auxiliary machine in which an auxiliary pulley wound around by the belt together with the crank pulley and the starting pulley is arranged in a belt circulating direction and at an upstream side of the crank pulley and a load driven by the force power transmitted from the engine to the auxiliary pulley is controlled intermittently; and a starting control device to cause the force power to be supplied from the starting device to the engine when the engine is started to operate and to cause the auxiliary machine to be connected to the load and controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】簡単な制御でエンジンの始動時におけるクランクプーリの下流と上流における張力差を小さくし、クランクプーリにおけるベルトスリップを緩和することができるエンジンの始動システムを提供する。【解決手段】エンジンの始動システムは、クランク軸にクランクプーリが設けられたエンジンと、クランクプーリとの間にベルトが巻き掛けられる始動プーリが設けられ、エンジンの始動の際にエンジンに動力を供給する動力源となる始動装置と、クランクプーリ及び始動プーリとともにベルトが巻き掛けられる補機プーリがベルトの循環方向、クランクプーリの上流に設けられ、エンジンから補機プーリに伝達された動力で駆動される負荷が断続制御される補機と、エンジンの始動の際に、始動装置からエンジンに動力を供給させるとともに、補機に負荷を接続制御させる始動制御装置とを備える。【選択図】 図3
