Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-diameter and long-length rotary electric machine having a baffle ring in an air gap, and to provide a method of attaching a baffle ring easily to an air gap in a rotary electric machine of a small-diameter and long-length.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine has a baffle ring which is constituted of a plurality of portions which are segmented in a circumferential direction. Each of the segmented portions is formed integrally with at least one wedge, and the plurality of segmented portions are aligned and connected in contact with each other in a circumferential direction, and each of the segmented portions is connected to each other by the wedge at the same position in the axial direction to form the baffle ring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 小径長尺の回転電機においても、エアギャップ内にバッフルリングを簡便に設置できる方法を提供すること、およびエアギャップ内にバッフルリングを備えた小径長尺の回転電機を提供すること。【解決手段】 バッフルリングを周方向に複数の部材に分割し、この部材の各々を少なくとも一つの楔と一体に形成し、部材と一体に形成した楔を軸方向の同じ位置に打ち込むことで、複数の部材を互いに接するように周方向に並べてバッフルリングを設置した回転電機。【選択図】 図2
