Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that is able to sufficiently reduce cogging torque while eliminating the need for cogging torque adjustment and is able to achieve stable power transmission under small torque fluctuation while ensuring high torque density, by solving a conventional rotary electric machine problem in that cogging cannot be reduced sufficiently and by employing a configuration in which an adjustment iron core having a projecting part different from a rotor in terms of outside diameter shape is disposed in an axial end part of the rotor.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 comprises: a stator 2 having a slot 11; a rotor 3; and a permanent magnet 6 inserted along the axial direction of the rotor 3. An axial end part of the rotor 3 includes an adjusting iron core 20 different from the rotor 3 in outside-diameter shape and having a plurality of projection parts 30 partly blocking the axial end part of the permanent magnet 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】従来の回転電機の問題点であった、十分にコギングトルクを低減することができない点を解決し、回転子の軸方向端部に回転子の外径形状とは異なる突起部を有する調整鉄心を配設する構成を採用することで、コギングトルクの調整を不要にしながら、コギングトルクを十分に低減でき、高いトルク密度を確保しながら小さいトルク変動下で安定した動力伝達を実現できる回転電機を提供する。【解決手段】スロット11を有する固定子2と、回転子3と、回転子3の軸方向に沿って挿入された永久磁石6を有する回転電機1において、回転子3の軸方向端部には、回転子3の外径形状とは異なると共に永久磁石6の軸方向端部を一部塞ぐような複数の突起部30を有する調整鉄心20を具備する。【選択図】 図2
