Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which is superior in voltage endurance characteristic.SOLUTION: A separator for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a film thickness of 20 μm or less, of which the peel strength measured in a blocking test is 0.2 N or more, and the rate of change of a thrusting strength before and after the blocking test is 15% or less. The blocking test is a test including the steps of: fastening a pair of 80-mm square separators by 100-mm square parts of a jig; subsequently leaving the pair of separators at rest with a 3.5-kg load applied thereto under an atmosphere of 133±1°C for 30 minutes; after that, removing the load therefrom, followed by cooling to a room temperature; cutting down test pieces of 27×80 mmfrom the pair of separators; and measuring the peel strength of the test pieces under the condition of 100 mm/min.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】耐電圧特性に優れた非水電解液二次電池用セパレータを提供する。【解決手段】非水電解液二次電池用セパレータは、膜厚が20μm以下であり、ブロッキング試験で測定される剥離強度が0.2N以上であり、ブロッキング試験前後の突刺強度の変化率が15%以下である。ブロッキング試験は、80mm×80mmの2枚のセパレータを、100mm×100mmの治具で挟み込み、3.5kgの荷重をかけながら133℃±1℃の雰囲気下で30分静置した後、前記荷重を取り除き、室温まで冷却した後に、27mm×80mmの試験片に切り出し、当該試験片に対して100mm/minの条件で剥離強度を測定する試験である。【選択図】なし
