PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction indication mechanism that is suppressed in enlargement and prevents occurrence of so called "a phenomenon of reverse lighting."SOLUTION: When a bracket 3 is at a left-turn indication position, a click piece 4 is held at a click surface 6 and a step 75 which is formed from a first release member 71. In this state, when a ratchet 8 is turned by a cancel cam 92, the first release member 71 displaces while resisting energizing force of an elastic member energizing the click piece 4 toward the click surface, and releases holding of the click piece 4 at the step 75. The click surface 6 has a first guide surface 63 that guides the click piece 4 whose holding at the step 75 is released to a neutral holding part 65, utilizing the energizing force of the elastic member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】方向指示機構の大型化を抑制しつつ、いわゆる逆点灯現象の発生を防止する。【解決手段】ブラケット３が左折指示位置にあるとき、節度ピース４は、節度面６と第一解除部材７１によって形成される段差７５に保持される。この状態でキャンセルカム９２によりラチェット８が回動されると、第一解除部材７１は、節度ピース４を節度面に向けて付勢している弾性部材の付勢力に抗いつつ変位して、段差７５における節度ピース４の保持を解除する。節度面６は、段差７５における保持を解除された節度ピース４を弾性部材の付勢力を利用して中立保持部６５へ導く第一ガイド面６３を有している。【選択図】図６
