PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adhesion of ink mist to the reverse side of a sheet in ink jet printing equipment having a suction platen.SOLUTION: A support part of a suction platen is provided with a recess that is enclosed with a wall having a top for supporting a sheet. The recess is provided with a first suction hole, and the top is provided with a second suction hole. A pipe passage penetrating the wall to connect the outside of the wall and the recess together, and a suction passage having one end connected to the second suction hole and having the other end connected to a midway point through the pipe passage are provided within the wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】 吸引式プラテンを有するインクジェット方式のプリント装置において、シート裏面へのインクミストの付着を低減する。【解決手段】 吸引式プラテンの支持部は、シートを支える頂部を有する壁に囲まれた凹部が備えられ、凹部には第１吸引孔が設けられており、且つ、頂部には第２吸引孔が設けられている。壁の内部には、壁の外側と凹部とをつなぐ、壁を貫く貫通路、および、一端が第２の吸引孔につながり且つ他端が貫通路の途中につながる吸引路が設けられている。【選択図】 図５
