PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which has durability and has preferable adhesive intensity between different adjacent layers.SOLUTION: A golf ball comprises a first layer comprising a first polymeric composition, the first layer being enclosed by a second layer which comprises a second polymeric composition different from the first polymeric composition, and being adjacent to the second layer. Only one of the first and second layers comprises, on the whole body, at least silane-including adhesive promotion agent by an amount of almost 0.1 wt% to almost 5.0 wt%. Neither the first layer nor the second layer is subjected to surface processing by the at least one silane-including promotion agent. The second layer comprises the at least silane-including adhesive promotion agent, the second layer may be enclosed by a third layer which is formed of a third polymeric composition different from the second polymeric composition, the third layer is not subjected to surface processing, and does not include the at least one silane-including adhesive promotion agent.
