Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali ion water production tool for a washing machine which prevents the formation of an oxide film on a magnesium particle surface, and which, when the oxide film is formed on the magnesium particle surface, allows visual checking thereof.SOLUTION: A production tool 1 is flat and comprises: a body part 1c formed of a pair of elliptic columnar sponge parts 1a and 1b; and many granular magnesium particles 1d stored in the body part 1c. The body part 1c formed of a foamed synthetic resin allows the internal magnesium particles 1d to be visually checked from the external surface of the body part 1c. When rinsing treatment by a washing machine is started, the production tool 1 having buoyancy is floated up by a vortex flow generated by a pulsator to the vicinity of the center of a water tub in the washing machine and is vigorously stirred. As a result, magnesium is eluted from the magnesium particles 1d in the body part 1c to water in the water tub. The sterilization of laundry and the sterilization of the water tub can be performed with alkali ion water obtained by modification due to the elution, and stains on the laundry can be easily removed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】マグネシウム粒表面に酸化膜の発生を防止すると共に、マグネシウム粒表面に酸化膜が発生した場合に、目視で確認することができる洗濯機用アルカリイオン水生成用具を提供する。【解決手段】生成用具1は偏平状であって、楕円柱状の一対のスポンジ部1a、1bから成る本体部1cと、本体部1c内に収納される粒状の多数個のマグネシウム粒1dから構成されており、発泡した合成樹脂から成る本体部1cは、本体部1cの外表面から内部のマグネシウム粒1dを目視で確認することが可能である。洗濯機の濯ぎ処理が開始されると、パルセータの渦流により浮力のある生成用具1は洗濯機内の水槽の中央付近まで浮き上がり、激しくかき回されることで本体部1c内のマグネシウム粒1dからマグネシウムが水槽内の水に溶出する。この溶出により改質したアルカリイオン水によって、洗濯物の除菌や水槽の除菌をすることができると共に洗濯物の汚れが落ち易くなる。【選択図】図2
