Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving an imaging apparatus, the imaging apparatus, and an imaging system, capable of reducing a noise component included in a signal to be outputted by an image pixel.SOLUTION: A signal SEL(N-1) of N-1th line scanned before an image pixel of Nth line becomes a high level, and a signal RES(N) of Nth line is shifted from the high level to a low level in a period of reading out an image pixel of N-1th line. A reset transistor connected to a floating diffusion part of the image pixel of Nth line without performing the reading from the pixel of the image signal is turned off.
