PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for precisely evaluating the on-ice brake performance of an evaluation subject relating to a tire.SOLUTION: According to the method for evaluation according to the present invention, the on-ice brake performances of more than one evaluation subject relating to a tire are evaluated through comparison. The method includes the steps of: measuring the on-ice brake performance of each evaluation subject; and measuring the coefficient of dynamic friction of a reference material of each evaluation subject when measuring the on-ice brake performance. With the method, the on-ice brake performances are compared based on the coefficient of dynamic friction of the reference material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】精度よくタイヤに関係する被評価体の氷上制動性能を評価するための評価方法の提供。【解決手段】本発明に係る評価方法では、タイヤに関係する複数の被評価体の氷上制動性能を比較することで、この被評価体の氷上制動性能が評価される。この評価方法は、それぞれの被評価体についての氷上制動性能を測定する工程、及び上記被評価体の氷上制動性能を測定する際に併せてその被評価体についての基準体の動摩擦係数を測定する工程を有する。この方法では、上記基準体の動摩擦係数を基準として上記被評価体の氷上制動性能同士が比較される。【選択図】図２
