Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle washing machine that is able to safely use a function for stopping a vehicle washing operation by quickly detecting movement of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle washing machine has vehicle washing control means 36 comprising: a vehicle shape data production part 39 that produces vehicle body shape data by detecting the shape of a vehicle each time a main body frame 1 runs a predetermined distance; contact/separation control parts 40, 42 that cause a washing brush to act on the vehicle body on the basis of vehicle shape data produced by the vehicle shape data production means 39; and electric current data production part 41 that detects an electric current value of a brush motor when the washing brush is caused to act on the vehicle body and sets a threshold value for pressing the brush. The vehicle washing control means 36 has a function for determining malfunction if the electric current value of the brush motor detected in the same vehicle body position in washing two or more times exceeds the electric current threshold value of the brush motor set when the washing brush is caused to act on the vehicle body first time on the basis of the vehicle shape data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】 本発明は、自動車の移動をいち早く検知し、洗車動作を停止させる機能を安全に使用することが可能な洗車機を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】 本体フレーム1が所定距離走行する毎に自動車の形状を検出して車体の車形データを作成する車形データ作成部39と、車形データ作成手段39で作成した車形データに基づいて洗浄ブラシを自動車車体に作用させる接離制御部40・42と、洗浄ブラシを自動車車体に作用させたときのブラシモータの電流値を検出してブラシ押付のしきい値を設定する電流データ作成部41とを有する洗車制御手段36を備え、該洗車制御手段36は、車形データに基づいて最初に洗浄ブラシを車体に作用させたときに設定されるブラシモータの電流しきい値に対して、2回目以降の洗浄で同一の車体位置で検出されるブラシモータの電流値がこのしきい値を逸脱したときに異常を判断する機能を備えた。【選択図】図5
