Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an aluminium alloy billet composed of a fine crystal grain structure.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method for an aluminium alloy billet 1, the aluminium alloy billet 1 is casted while stirring molten metal 10 made of aluminium alloy in a casting mold 3 by rotating a screw 5 arranged at a center part in the casting mold 3. An outer diameter D of the screw 5 is equal to a half of an inner diameter A of the casting mold 3 or more and less than an inner diameter B of a header 4 arranged above the casting mold 3. A lower end position E of an outer end part of the screw 5 is above an intermediate position between an upper position E1 of the casting mold 3 and a solidification interface 110 (E2) in the casting mold 3 in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】微細結晶粒組織からなるアルミニウム合金ビレットの製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】アルミニウム合金ビレット1の製造方法は、鋳型3内のアルミニウム合金からなる溶湯10を、鋳型3内の中心部に配置したスクリュー5の回転によって攪拌しながら、アルミニウム合金ビレット1を鋳造する。スクリュー5の外径Dは、鋳型3の内径Aの1/2以上、かつ、鋳型3の上側に配置されたヘッダー4の内径B未満である。スクリュー5の外端部の下端位置Eは、上下方向における鋳型3の上端位置E1と鋳型3内の凝固界面110(E2)との中間位置よりも上側である。【選択図】図1
